M3 Project is an East Lancashire based charity helping some of the most vulnerable young people (16-21) obtain accommodation and support to overcome homelessness and access a brighter future.
We provide supported lodgings for single young homeless people and supported properties for young parents throughout the East Lancashire area. We also have a homelessness prevention service called 'The Listening Project', for 15 -17 year old's experiencing difficulties at home.
Our support staff and volunteer Householders, in partnership with relevant agencies, encourage young people to develop independent living skills, re-engage with family and friends, access education, training or work, and support them in finding permanent accommodation of their own.
Our prevention service works with trained young people as mentors, who provide the opportunity for young people and their families to be heard, talk about what’s going wrong and discuss a better way forward.
You can contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01706 216600 for more information.
We are looking for people with a spare room in their home who want to become one of our Supported Lodgings Providers and help young people move from unsuitable accommodation to a place of their own. We are also looking for individuals who want to support the work we do by fundraising for us.
